The Yoga Spirit Festival created to embrace and celebrate the yoga community in Malaysia, is back for a 2nd year expanding their event offerings by providing 20 master class sessions throughout the 2 days to choose from, with several styles of yoga that are practiced throughout Malaysia. In addition to the 20 master classes, there will be talks on nutrition by health experts and fitness, meditation and dance classes to make the whole program more holistic and fun!

Journey Within Your Own Body with Deep
Strength and flexibility both are the sign of healthy body and happy mind. Do you have both? This particular sequence is based on the rules of Ancient Traditional Hatha Sequencing and Yoga therapy Rules. This series is a part of Deep's Neo Hatha Yoga Teacher Training. He has worked on hundreds of people all over the world and has given healing effect to them with this sequence. This whole series will give you power and relaxation to enjoy your life with full on energy.
1. We will start healing from lower body by balancing yin and yang in quadriceps, hamstrings, calves, adductors and gluteals muscle to give proper range of motion to hip joint.
2. Strength and flexibility of upper body by stabilizing and mobilizing the shoulder girdle.
3. Firing up the deep erector spine with all superficial muscles of back and extending the whole spine by stretching the front core rectus abdominals, hip flexors and pectorals muscles.
4. Stabilizing the core especially the transverse, external internal obliques with rectus abdominals and deep back multifidus muscles to develop the strength from centre.
5. Learning the tilt of pelvic with the extension of lumbar, thoracic and crevice spine will move the Prana into whole back of your body from heels to fingertips.
6. Deep rotation and opening of spinal vertebrae of your spine with stable and squeezed core.
7. Finally we will end by balancing your endocrine, nervous and hormonal system.

The monkey mind binds us to unwholesomeness , to matters that keep us sticky and stuck, and we allow our egos to rule and dominate. Tripsichore Yoga, a unique creation by Edward Clark or you could call it as a modern contemporary style of yoga. It blends gracefully dance choregraphy with the yoga discipline (primarily works on a variety of bandhas & breathing principles). Tripsichore pronounces - Trip-sic-Uh-ree, the chore is pronounced like the beginning of Choreography. The name is derived from the Greek muse of Dance Terpsichore.
The practice helps you to be present mindfully and to focus on each move , each breath, each transition in the extraordinary Tripsichore Sun salutation variations. This class would be recommended for those who are already comfortable with inversions or headstands.

An Iyengar Class with an emphasis on alignment will focus on lengthening and extension of the spine to work into twists. We will work with postures that provide a fundamental understanding of twists and work towards some deeper twists in standings, seated postures, inversions and supine postures.

The Nervous System Kriya will reconnect to your internal energy map. All the nervous system will be shaped up and balanced up. No more breakdown
Then we boost the Apana in your body. Apana is the eliminating power of your body - it takes away what you don't need. Many of us are holding toxins and emotions that no longer serve our greater good.
We will then explore various forms or relaxations to eliminate tension and stress – each kriya will work on different organs and energy centres of the body. It will include the relaxing Buddha pose, whistling and dancing! The only condition is that you have to ‘dance like no one is watching’.
